Cobargo Horse Breeders

OPEN DAY

On Saturday September 13, 2003, three prominent Cobargo Horse Studs will open their gates to provide interested mare owners the unique opportunity to view a range of stallions within close proximity.

And, as an added incentive, a 10% discount on all stud service fees will be offered to Open Day visitors if booked on the day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Wadbilliga Stockhorse Stud

10am - 11.30am

The day's viewing will commence at 10am at Wadbilliga Stockhorse Stud, 1km south of of Cobargo on the Princes Hwy.

Martin and Judy Bourke stand 2 classically bred stockhorse stallions, Nuniong Dr Bruce, a 6 year old chestnut and Wadbilliga Pepper a 4 year old Pinto.

Broodmares may be viewed and some young stock will be available for sale.

Wadbilliga Stockhorse Stud will be open to the public from 10am - 11.30am.

Wilgo Riding Pony Stud

12.15pm - 1.15pm

From 12.15pm - 1.15pm, Janelle and Robert Salway of Wilgo Riding Pony Stud will open their gates to show off their stunning 2 year old Riding Pony Part Welsh colt, "Radford Lodge Monet".

A selection of riding ponies and other stock will also be available to view and purchase on the day.

Karizmah Palominos

1.30pm - 3pm

At 1.30pm continue on a further 1.3kms along Wandella Rd then left at Yowrie Rd for 8kms to Karizmah Palominos, breeding Palomino Warmbloods and Sport-horses.

Visitors will be able to view the stud's elegant five year old Palomino Warmblood x Stockhorse stallion, Jaybee Excellent and his year old progeny. Plus, with any luck, the first of his 2003 babies may also be on display.

Jaybee Excellent will stand to a strictly limited number of outside mares in 2003 for the service fee of $1000 (+GST & agistment).

A selection of three year old coloured and chestnut geldings by the stud's former El Shaklan line Arabian Derivative Palomino stallion will be available to view and purchase.
